Esquire Marc I. Schmelkin is our office liaison to assist our clients from Massachusetts. He is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts. Marc assists us in Central and Eastern Massachusetts working primarily in family/probate law, real estate law, landlord/tenant law, and civil/business disputes.
He has a strong passion for helping individuals navigate the waters of the legal system while providing support for his clients going through a difficult time in their lives.
His previous experience working with Schmelkin Associates, P.C. was through its predecessor, Breadbar, Garfield and Schmelkin while earning his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University at Albany. He graduated from Western New England University School of Law with his Juris Doctorate with a cum laude distinction and served on his school's law review as a Publishing Editor; did two judicial externships and a clinical internship with the Hampden County District Attorney's office. He also earned his Masters in Business Administration from Western New England College of Business.
He is a certified mediator, a member of Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, a member of the Worcester Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and serves as Visitor Host for the Professional Business Builders Chapter of Business Networking International.
